todescribethesoundofdrummachinesfromtheearly80's.
ADMcontainsthreeclassicvintagedrummachinesfromthatera
rolledintoone,combinedwitha32-stepinternalsequencer
andpatterncontrolledfx(PCF).Getallyourpatternsinto
ADMviatheImportRebirthfunctionordirectlyfromyourold
909viasysex(wewillprovideafreetoolfordumping
sysex).

Sounds

ADMcontains25drumgenerators,eachonecarefullymodeled
aftertheclassics'analogcircuitsand4PCMplayers,fora
totalof34sounds(somegeneratorshavetwosounds).Certain
soundshavebeenextendedwithextraparameters,likethe
tuningandattackofthe606bassdrum.Theaccentseffecton
bridged-Toscillatorsthatmakeupthebassdrumandtom-tom
soundshasbeencloselysimulatedandthehihatsandcymbals
soundandreactveryclosetotheoriginals.

ThePCFcanbeusedtoautomateanyofthedrummachines
parameters,forinstanceit'spossibletochangethecutoff
andQparametersforeachstep.Infactitcancontrolanyof
thedrummachinesparameters,forexampleyoucansetthe
amountofsnappyoneachsteporswitchfrommaracasto
handclaponspecificsteps,givingtheillusionofmore
polyphony(somethingthathadtobedonebyhandonthe
originalmachine).ThePCFcanalsocontroltheamountof
mangle(atypeofdistortion)onspecificsteps,andiftheFX
shouldbeappliedtoasoundornot.
